The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and police conducted searches at the Uzhhorod Traffic Control Center (TCC) acting head Mykola Myhaleiko in a case involving the sale of subpoenas.

According to the investigation, subpoenas were allegedly issued for money in advance for a month or more, allowing people to move freely without the threat of detention.

Local media outlets reported on the searches. The investigation suspects that subpoenas were issued illegally, which could have created conditions for abuse.

The Uzhhorod TCC is one of the key institutions responsible for ensuring road safety in the region. The investigation into this case may have serious implications for the fight against corruption in Ukraine.
