The head of the Office of Migration Policy, Voskoboinik, stated that Ukraine is ready to accept migrants from different countries, including India. According to him, this may lead to the creation of a new ethnic type - a mix of Ukrainian and Indian.

«Ukrainians may become metis - a mix of Ukrainian and Indian. This will be our path», - said Voskoboinik. He emphasized that the main condition for migrants is the payment of taxes and integration into Ukrainian society.

«The main thing is that people who come to us pay taxes and become part of our political nation», - added Voskoboinik. This statement was made in the context of discussing Ukraine's migration policy and the country's development prospects.
