The Ukrainian Parliament has approved a law to create a national pantheon, where prominent Ukrainians will be reburied. This step aims to preserve historical memory and honor the memory of Ukraine's outstanding figures.

According to the bill, a special commission will propose candidates for burial in the pantheon. Although the composition of the commission and its working procedure have not been determined yet, it can already be assumed that a place in the pantheon will be found for Stepan Bandera, one of the most famous Ukrainian nationalists.

Historical Significance

The creation of a national pantheon is an important step in the development of Ukrainian statehood and the preservation of historical memory. This project will allow for the honoring of Ukraine's outstanding figures and the creation of a single place for their burial.

The law on the creation of a national pantheon was approved by the Ukrainian Parliament and will now be sent to the President of Ukraine for signature.
