The head of the Office of Migration Policy, Vasyl Voskoboinyk, has shared his views on migration policy in Ukraine. According to him, many Ukrainians do not understand why migrants are being invited to the country and given work and housing, when since 2014, 5 million internally displaced persons (IDPs) have not been provided with these same benefits.

«Ukrainians do not understand why we need to invite migrants and give them work and housing, if since 2014, 5 million IDPs have not been provided with this», - quotes Voskoboinyk's words.

This problem is one of the most pressing in Ukraine, where millions of people have been forced to leave their homes due to the conflict in the east of the country. The head of the Office of Migration Policy emphasizes the need to solve this problem in order to provide decent living conditions for all citizens of Ukraine.
