Since 2024, the number of deportation cases from the EU has increased significantly. The main reasons for deportation are violations of migration rules, expired documents, or other offenses.

According to the head of the State Migration Service of Ukraine, Natalia Naumenko, there is an optimistic trend: more and more Ukrainians are returning home.

However, experts note that this may be due not only to the desire to return home but also to the tightening of migration policies in the EU.
